A CS degre is usually focused more on engineering and deep techical programming, while CIS, CSIT, and IT degrees focus on business and financial programming. Note that engineering programming is needed in business in networking, system configuration, etc - it's just a different specialty.

Actually there is no difference between these 2 useless degrees. I wonder who asked the question about the suitability of the course for girls. This question clearly indicates the low intellect level of CS and IT students.In todays scenario even if u do a B.Tech from an institute that has mushroomed in a garbage dump u will get a call from TCS, Infosys and yes Cognizant.So Best of luck to the lucky low intellect students.
