A digital still camera creates files each of which contain a single image, and can be printed onto paper, if you want.
A digital video camera creates a file that consists of many sequential images which, when played back at the appropriate speed, look like moving images (as on TV or in the movies). You might be able to print a single image from that file if you had the right software, but you could not, and would not want to, print the entire file.
A photo is a general term for a picture taken by a camera and using a range of technique. Still Photography is a specific term to describe the, usually professional, process of photographing still life objects.
Digital Camera can be used to take photos & videos. whereas still camera is
used only for stills.
Paparazzi are photo journalists who document celebrities and whatnot with pictures. Photography is a number of things - it could be abstract, conceptual, still life, nature photography, people & portraits, used for advertisement, etc. Photography is quite endless in possibilities while paparazzi are limited to more of a journalistic kind of nature.
Portrait photography is different than candid shots. In portrait photography, the subject sits still and the picture is then taken. The focus of the photo is usually on the face of the person.
Photo editing is simply 'touching up' or improving a still image. Animation is combining several still images to create the illusion of movement.

Still photo's capture a still moment, and capture a full scene, and the entire moment. It is also much better quality, and better detailed than something like a video. Videos capture a few moments, but aren't very focused, and have many points. In a still photo, you can see the whole picture, in all its beauty.
