"The 4870 and the 4870 d/dt/f/g/gz/gzx/hz/j/k are different types of the same model. The letters following the model numbers signify an engineering change that was made to the model. This change is usually minor or cosmetic (such as the color) and does not affect the overall performance or operation of the vacuum.
You may have seen the 4870 advertised without a letter type after it, but all models have a type. The only difference between all the types in the model 4870 is color.
4870 d/dt = green
4870 f = black
4870 g/gz = red (gz has yellow graphics)
4870 hz = blue (comes with a turbo nozzle)
4870 j = teal blue (comes with power paw w/risor visor)
4870 k = deep jade w/metallic silver and grey features (comes with an Arm & Hammer bags)
4870 GZ comes with a bonus turbo nozzle (attachment used for cleaning stairs)
4870 GZX comes with a turbo nozzle and 6 extra bags

How does sky propagation differ from line-of-sight propagation?
Electromagnetic waves - radio waves - propagate through the air and vacuum by altering the electro-magnetic (EM) properties of space. They will be reflected whenever the EM properties of the space change. Incoming radiation from the sun partly ionizes some of the air molecules in the upper atmosphere and, for some frequencies, this will reflect (or refract) the EM signal. This allows the EM signal to be reflected over long distances - even around the world - multiple hops. This effect is only true for HF radio - frequencies up to 10MHz or so. And varies naturally, day and night. A related phenomenon affecting the upper atmosphere, is that incoming meteorites may give temporary ionization tracks. These have been used for burst transmissions but are not suitable for broadcast communications. Higher frequencies, 100 MHz or so, use line - of - sight transmission, for these high frequencies are not affected by the ionized layers.
Why is there no time in space?
There is time in space. If you floated around in space in orbit of the Earth, time would still work approximately the same as when you were on Earth. However, time can change according to the theory of relativity. For example, we know the speed of light always appears to be 299,792,458 m/s regardless of how fast you think you're travelling from the light source. How can this be true? The only way this can be true is that time advances relative to how fast you're travelling compared with other things. We know Alpha Centauri (our nearest neighboring solar system) is approximately 4.4 light years away. It might be possible to jump in a space rocket one day in the future, and think you're flying there and back in half this time. For an observer on Earth, the return trip would always take > 8.8 years, although the person doing the trip might think they did it quicker.

The speed of rotation of a motor depends on the amount of current flowing through it, the number of coils on the armature, the strength of the field magnet, the permeability of the armature, and the mechanical load connected to the shaft.
