internet Explorer is the web user interface and web rendering engine aspect of Windows Explorer. Note: Actually, nothing. It's a program with a split-personality. The Internet Explorer side of the program is for Surfing the web. The Windows Explorer side is used for exploring the files, folders, drives, and directories on your computer.

Windows explorer comes with windows and is created by Microsoft. Firefox has nothing to do with windows and works on several other OS (unlike IE), it is created by Mozilla. I generally prefer Firefox because it seams to be faster and smoother.

FireFox can have all history easily deleted, IE records it all and never truly deletes it. (history.ie5)

Netscape navigator is no longer being developed. Now the comparison is between Firefox and internet explorer Answer: These two major browsers are coming closer to each other regarding the DHTML effects possible towards newer versions. However you will need to remember that IE is more flexible than Netscape and due to small differences something that works really well in IE might not work at all in Netscape. So you need to be really careful and alert when programming for both browsers. One hint you can follow in most cases is that if you get it working in Netscape it should most probably work in IE. Another major limitation of Netscape as compared to IE is that not all properties of a page can be changed at any time. This is because when the web page is once written to the screen, only position, visibility and clipping can be manipulated dynamically. The good news is that from the web designing point of view you can now forget completely about debugging all your websites for Netscape 4.x as a very small fraction of the Netscape community still use it. Think of it this way, if you are bent on making the website work perfectly for version 4.x then you cannot use some effects (especially javascript and CSS) that are easily supported by the latest versions of all the major browsers. For Dreamweaver to not keep throwing up Netscape 4 errors set the browser check settings to show Netscape 6 instead of the default 4.0. To do this click on the Results panel, select the Target Browser Check tab, click on the green arrow to show the list of options - select the Settings option and set Netscape Navigator to version 6.0.

Internet Explorer is the default web browser on Windows. Since it comes pre-installed with Windows, it has the largest user base, making web site operators have to modify their website in order to be compatible with IE's rendering engine. Its main advantages are that nearly all websites will render correctly in IE, it comes pre-installed, and many websites require it. The key drawbacks of IE are that it is slower, has fewer features, and crashes more often compared to other browsers. Its web standard support (or lack of it) is the bane of webmasters everywhere, with campaigns against its use, since they have to make up for all of IE's rendering mistakes. In addition, since many people use IE, this is the main target for malware. Opera has, for a long time, been one of the fastest, most innovative browsers. They pioneered useful features like tabbed browsing long before it was in IE and other web browsers. It comes with built in support for ad blocking, userscripts, and phishing support. Also, Opera has the advantage of being not only a web browser, but a complete internet suite, including a download manager, email client, IRC client, and syncing support. Many of popular IE and Firefox add-ons come as default features in Opera. The key disadvantage of Opera is that many websites do not render correctly in Opera, as websites are designed for IE (which has an extremely low Acid3 score), and, when Opera's engine (which has a perfect Acid3 score) tries to render a website, it fails. However, this problem is diminishing as is IE use, so in a few years it will no longer be relevant. Also, some versions have minor, yet annoying, UI glitches.

The difference between the Internet itself and Internet Explorer is the fact that Internet Explorer is a "browser" as we call it used to search multiple images, websites and other functions. The Internet isn't only (what is seen in) the browser, it also includes every computer connected to it. the Internet can include wi-fi, as Internet Explorer can only be used to grab information on wi-fi, such as how to connect to wi-fi, or how to access public wi-fi.

The difference between Google Chrome and Internet Explorer is that they are two different browsers for the internet made by two separate companies. In my opinion, however, is that Google chrome is a much better product. The company that creates Google Chrome goes by the name "Google", and it is very advanced and has made many products that are very popular. Google Chrome compared to Internet Explorer is a much safer way to go when it comes to a debate, and it is very simple for people who are new to this age of technology. The way it is built is very child friendly, considering the fact it does not cover up any spaces with ads of any sort that may include some that are quite inappropriate. I hope this helped! :D

Internet Explorer is a browser developed by Microsoft, and Chrome is Google's internet browser. They both have a very different interface, with very different features. The better browser is just a matter of opinion, but Chrome has proven to be a more secure browser that is faster and has more code support. Editors note, please link to said "proof"
