That is why most warranties have different sections for each part or piece that they cover. To make matters a little more complicated, the word "Lifetime Warranty" or "Lifetime of a Product" varies not only product to product but state to state. In California, to use the words "Lifetime Warranty" the product must have a minimum of 3 years of product life. When the manufacturer adds the word "Limited" to the Lifetime warranty, then the terms of that lifetime can be adjusted or modified usually by adding limiting conditions.
