Create means to form a new thing, the process which is in the mind, through imagination someone can create a new thing. While to make is to bring into existence that which has already been created in the mind.
These two words, sometimes used interchangeably in English, are forms that are sometimes difficult for second language speakers of English to master.
Do is an axillary, meaning that it helps the verb, and is often used in the question form,
For example Do you want to go? The third person form is, does he or she want to go?
It can also be used in the imperative form,
for example: Do your homework, where it is the verb.
Make is a verb, for example: make a cake, make a mistake, make your bed.
The rules of when to use do, and when to use make, are instinctive to native speakers of English, but must be learned
by second language speakers, and can prove very tricky.
You can't say make your job for example, but you can say,
Do your job.
The proper use of 'make' and 'makes' are the following:
I make.
You make.
They make.
He or she makes.
It makes.
( A noun) makes. Example: Sally makes delicious soup.
Making love is having sex. Question marks are what you use at the end of a question. They indicate that you are unsure of something and that you would like an answer. Ever put sex at the end of a question? Doesn't work too well.
Hoped that helped, xoxo Gossip Girl.
I can make pancakes, but not build them.
I can make (manufacture) a car, build an engine, make the engine turn over, and make the car move, but I can't 'build' the car to move.
I can make a car move so it builds momentum, but I did not make the momentum the car builds.
I can make blueprint plans to build a building, but I can't build blueprints.
Both are deliberate actions, but with significant differences. Both making and building means knowing what pieces to include, but not necessarily making the pieces with which to build it. And sometimes, just to confuse things, I can claim making and building interchangeably about the same thing.
Make is the brand it's marketed as, manufacturer is the organization which actually built/assembled it. Most of the time, they are one in the same, but there are exceptions; namely, when it comes to badge engineering. For example, the Peterbilt 220 and Kenworth K270 and K370 are badge engineered variants of the DAF CF... ergo, Peterbilt or Kenworth would be the make, but DAF would be the manufacturer. Same thing with the Sterling Bullet, which was a badge engineered Dodge Ram 4500/5500. Same thing with the Dodge/Freightliner Sprinter, where Mercedes-Benz was the manufacturer.
Make is the past tense of Made. I make an omelette today, I made an omelette yesterday.
Manufacturing is making or creating a product through machines of a factory.
Making is not necessarily from machines but by hands
