What is the difference between mechanical engineering and mechanical and production engineering?

Answer:
mechanical engineering exposes on theory with pracicals on widear area whereas mechanical engineering with production engineering reduces its wide area of mechanical engineering but gives good exposure on making mechanical components in industries such as automobile parts, etc.

I feel that mechanical engineering is general mechanical engineering where as mechanical engineering with production engineering is a specilised mechanical engineering
