What is the difference between most and the most?

Answer:
"most" is Used when you want to talk about the amount of something when it is more than half but you don't want to say exactly how much is there. For example, you would say "most of it is still good," instead of "3/4 of it is still good."
"the most" is used to indicate that the thing is definitely more or better than something else. For example, "I like the mint ice cream the most," would be used to say that you like mint flavor more than any other flavor.
Hope I wasn't too confusing! :D
