Difference between single pass reverse osmosis and double pass reverse osmosis?

Single pass reverse osmosis means the feed water stream is first sent through the initial RO system. The product water from this system is treated further with yet another RO system. The result is highly purified water.

Could the deep sea pressures be utilized for Reverse osmosis in water purification?

That would be useless. For reverse osmosis you don't just need pressure; you need a pressure difference.

What are the difference between electrodialysis and reverse osmosis?

the main difference is....electrodialysis method is more effecient since energy consumption is less and the membrane in electrodialysis lasts for about 4 years

What is the difference between osmotic pressure and reverse osmosis?

Osmosis is the phenomenon of water flow through a semi-permeable membrane from high watre potential to low water potential. However the flow may be stopped, or even reversed by applying external pressure on the volume of higher concentration. In such a case the phenomenon is called reverse osmosis.

What is osmosis and reverse osmosis?

Osmosis is the passive movement of particles from an area of high concentration to an area of low concentration across a partially permeable membrane. reverse osmosis is the opposite?
