Pom is a mixture of dance. Pom girls don't use many cheer motions, It's more "creative". Cheerleaders, on the other hand, almost always use the simple cheer motions. Cheerleaders also stunt and tumble.

∙ 14y agoCheerleading is WAY better then pom poms. Sure they look cool, but you can't really clap with them. And they are SO uncomfortable.

Everyone has their own preferences, however.
If you're more into dance then you are into yelling and clapping and stunting, then i suggest Poms.
I've done both, and i think poms is better.

Then put 7 in back having tallest in middle and shortest two people on the far sides and everyone has pom poms

I honestly do not think it is a real thing. Pom Pom's are used for cheerleading squads and barbie well i can't think of anything besides the toys little girls play with.
