Logging of your computer is just turning off your particular account so someone can go on a different account.

Turning off is turning off the whole system. This way, someone would have to restart the computer before they could then log on to their own account.

The only difference i have seen with this is on power off the PC will be turned off and on shutdown the PC shutsdown and you are left with the screen saying "it is now safe to turn your computer off" and then you have to press the power button on the PC to turn the PC fully off.

Basically in Linux sysem shutdown diconnect the client from server.

When you shut down a computer, you are turning it completely off. When you simply log off, it ends the session, but does not turn off the computer. Another user could then log on.
