They both give off heat and light (fluorescent bulbs give off considerably less heat than incandescent bulbs), and most of the heat is "wasted" in that it is not used for any productive purpose.

they both gives heat and light but the sun is much larger and is part of our nature..the sun is can sustain to emits heat and light but the light bulb without an electricity cannot serve its purpose..*smiel*

The sun's rays contain a much broader spectrum of light, including invisible light like IR and UV. Although there are now lamps that can mimic the sun's rays, lamplight typically has a much more narrow focus

Nothing really. A Light is a general term for anything that gives off light. This could even be a candle. A lamp is usually a device designed to give light in a dark room. Early gas devices were called Lamps or Lanterns.

the energy from the sun(blue light) makes heat energy which makes the water evaporate. the water will then come down in the form of rain/snow/hail and other forms due to the gravitational potential energy. this will then create electrical energy through wave power (kinetic energy is also used) don't call me nerd cuz i know it!
