The difference is to do with species and size- tapeworms tend to be longer than roundworms, and are of a different species of parasitic worm. But they are both similar in their behaviour, hatching out in the intestinal tract of mammals and obtaining nourishment from the foodstuffs ingested by their host. They avoid being passed through the gut themselves by embedding small hooked appendages in the gut wall, to keep themselves in position. Tapeworms tend to occur singly or in pairs, whereas several roundworms can develop in one host. Tapeworm infestation is generally fairly harmless and rarely leads to serious illness unless the host is already malnourished; roundworms don't usually cause serious health problems, though occasionally they can give rise to infections of the liver or kidneys. Both roundworms and tapeworms can be easily treated with medication, and whilst they can occur in humans, are much more common in domestic animals such as dogs and cats. They should not be confused with ringworm, which is not a worm at all, but a skin condition that creates crescent-shaped bruises and wheals on the skin, usually as a result of an allergy to certain types of food or medicines.

How do you kill ringworm fungus in saltwater pool?

Pee. I know it sounds gross, but ringworm is killed by urine. I know there is a lot of controversy around the difference between peeing in the pool and peeing into the pool, but in this case i would recommend the latter. Or you could just raise the PH balance. Why did you go for saltwater anyhow? Good old-fashioned chlorine.
