∙ 11y agoA gyrus (pl. gyri) is a ridge on the Cerebral_cortex. It is generally surrounded by one or more Sulcus_(neuroanatomy) (sl. sulcus). So basically the gyri are the top of the fold of the brain and the the sulci are the bottom (tucked in bit)
