A sentence is one or more complete thoughts or expressions. A paragraph is one or more sentences that relate any number of thoughts about a single subject or about an aspect of a subject.

AND

A sentence starts with a capital letter and ends with a full stop (period).

What I have written above (in bold)is a sentence. A paragraph consists of several sentences. Such as below:

Parts of sentence: a sentence is made of several basic parts, so the basic parts of the sentence is called members of sentence. a member of sentence can be made of different parts of speech or phrases. The two main elements of sentence are Subject and Predicate. The main part of speech of Subject is usually nouns. The main part of speech of Predicate is usually verbs.

Both represent ideas. The essay is a big idea that the you explain with smaller ideas in the form of paragraphs, sentences within those paragraphs and words within those sentences. They form a structure.
