To be honest, I'm not entirely sure, but I think its something along this line:

A utopia is a place where everything is perfect

A Dystopia is a place where not everything is perfect

And an anti-utopia is a place where nothing is perfect.

Does this make sense to you?

An anti-utopia is a broader concept that encompasses any society that is the opposite of an ideal utopian society, including dystopias, which are specifically characterized by oppressive and dehumanizing conditions. Dystopias are a subset of anti-utopias that focus on presenting a nightmarish world where individuals have limited freedoms and face extreme suffering.

Utopian and Dystopian societies are very different at first glance, but when you look deeper, you can see similarities between the two. Neither one of them exists for a long time, utopian because there is always some kind of conflict, and dystopian because the citizens rebel and break free. Both are frequently written about in Science Fiction novels, usually taking place in the future. Many ancient Roman and Greek philosophers wondered about the two societies and if they had ever existed. There is often more advanced technology in both communities, although how it's used in each is very different.

Utopian and Dystopian societies are also very different. In utopian societies there is peace, and everyone is happy. Everything is done for the good of the citizens. In dystopian societies, the government is treating citizens unfairly. There are often harsh punishments and oppression. While in utopian societies things are done to benefit the entire community, many things done in dystopian societies are to benefit a few people, usually the rich and powerful. People in dystopian communities are often angry, poor, and weak. In utopian communities, everyone has equal right and they are all happy.
