Specifically, morphine is an opiate, a natural occurring analgesic harvested from the opium poppy pod (as is codeine). Dilaudid (hydromorphone) is a semi-synthetic opiate or OPIOID, which is more potent than morphine. Dilaudid is synthesized in laboratories for similar effects to morphine, though stronger analgesic in less doses.
to try and answer the question quickly the difference as far as being synthetic opiates there is no difference. The other thing is morphine is the most powerful narcotic opiate pain killer, beside herion. It is primarily used for chronic pain conditions such as cancer of all type throughout the body. Oxycodone is a very powerful pain med as well even though the difference is very noticeable for relief of pain, they both are a candidate for abuse leading to addiction, be carful how much you ingest and don't go up, why do you need this anyway, your speaking on a outpatient basis and these are used primarily after invasive surgies of all types and the pain control thereafter, in a hospital type setting!!
Eitherway don't EVER take opiates if you don't know how much your taking vs your tolerance.
A person who has been taking opiates for 15 years would get something like Morphine Sulf 100mg/Oxycontin 160mg. One of those could easily kill someone who took one for the first time to "experiment"
WHAT YOU WANTED TO KNOW:30mg Vicoden is about 20mg of Oxycodone
...
20mg of Oxycodone is like 2mg of Dilaudid.
Thus 30mg of Vicoden would be about 2mg Dilaudid - if im wrong someone please correct me I would like to know.
I'm not a doctor but I've taken all 3 and found Oxycodone to be the best til you hit a tolerance wall, then the euphoria dies, the pain comes back.
Hands down though, Dilaudid is best for pain. Its just unfortunate swallow/oral/nasal/rectal admistration only delivers a 10-15% ( around there ) absorption after metabolism is done wit it.
So shooting up 4mg Dilaudid is like swalloing / sniffing 12+mg, which is why dillies are so popular with the shooters. Either of those doses would be hazardous for a non tolerant person. Do not take pain killers without a prescription.
Demerol is syntheticaly produced, that is, man made. Morpine is a derivative of opiom and is stronger and more addicting.
vicodin is a combo of hydrocodon a synthesized opiate and acetominophen which is a prostoglandin and blocks pain receptors while morphine is the main ingredient in opium
can u tell me the difference between oxymorphone and morphine sulfate? Is it the same thing
What is th difference
Stannous sulphate: SnSO4 Nickel sulphate: NiSO4.6H2O
calcium sulphate = CaSO4 and calcium sulfate dihydrate = CaSO4.(H2O)2
No they are both opiates
They are the same thing
M-Eslon is long acting morphine, which would probably be the primary pain killer for severe pain, while msir stands for morphine sulphate immediate release, which generally is used for breakthrough pain
What is stronger 200mg morphine sulphate or 30mg of hydro morpho
there's no difference. they are just 2 ways of spelling the same chemical
unfortunately your question is incomplete so cannot be answered. Morphine and codeine are rlated substances. Morphine Sulphate does not contain codiene as such.
no reaction between ammonium sulphate and iron sulphate
copper sulphate is a beautiful blue crystal [and yes it is spelt Sulphate not Sulfate]
Heating ammonium sulfate release ammonia with a characteristic smell.
You get many small granules of morphine sulfate.
