What is the difference in Roman Catholicism between a 'Titular Archbishop' and an 'Archbishop'?

Answer:
A "titular" Bishop or Archbishop is merely a personal honorary title conferred on a Bishop. The "titular" dioceses or archdioceses they are given are dioceses or archdioceses that are no longer in existence.

An "Archbishop" is the ordinary (head) of an existing Archdiocese. They are Archbishops endowed with full jurisdiction and are Archbishops in the true sense.
