The male will call but the females wont.
In outward appearance, they are identical. You'd have to dissect one to know.

Behaviorally, during the breeding season males will coo loudly, puff up their neck, and turn around in circles while raising and lowering their head (And looking absolutely ridiculous). The females are the ones that tend to just ignore the males displaying in front of them or attempt to get away from them, as males will get involved in coo-offs, trying to out-do each other.
