∙ 13y agoLortabs active ingredients include both hydrocodone, and acetaminophen. In more simple terms Lortabs are exactly like Vicodin just under a different brand name. They both contain the exact same ingredients. Percocet on the other hand contains two active ingredients but one is different than Vicodin and Lortab. The narcotic in the Percocet is called oxycodone, and the other active ingredient is acetaminophen. Oxycodone is also called oxycodone hydrochloride, but has been made shorter for consumers to remember easier.

Both are very addictive. How addicted you get depends on personal preference from person to person. High dosages of Percocet and Lortab have very similar effects, they both feel like morphine with very slight differences. Some people get sick on Lortab but not on Percocet, and vice versa. Percocet is slightly easier to take considering it is a tablet and not a syrup, so for some people that might be a minor deciding factor.
