the dramatic irony is that we know that everyone is going to die and they don't (except mr. frank)

im reading the story right now and in scene three, anne says, "you know we are going to forget how to dance... when we get out, we wont remember a thing."hope this helps.

It's ironic because Anne Frank said, I don't even know why I'm writing in a diary because no one with interest will want to read it. However, in the end, her diary became one of the most popular literature works ever written. That's why it's ironic.

there is more than one in the diary. basically its not a particular thing in the book its something in the book. verbal irony is sayin something but actually meaning something else.
