One of the easiest ways is to go to your county, city or municipality and ask to have a print-out of swimming pool permits they have granted within the past couple of months. The print-out should give you the dollar amounts for the projects. Some contractors will fudge on costs, but this should give you a pretty good gauge on what to expect for the particular type of pool you are interested in. This is also a great way of finding out the experience of your installer!
