On top of it already being illegal to have the marijuana in most places, it would also be animal abuse. Where owning the marijuana could be just a misdemeanor, animal abuse is usually a felony.

Also, if the dog eats too much, it could go from high to sick. It would suck if the dog puked pot all over your livingroom floor for mom to see. Hmmm...
