Here is the super short version

Jagangs Army surrond the City with everyone inside, Jagang Walked in thinking Richard was going to give up... Jagang gets one of those metal collars slipped around his neck that the sisters of the light use to control the gifted... Through the collar Jagang is killed.. no battle no fight...no nothing.. He gets hugged and she slips the collar on him...

Richard opens up the Boxes of Orden and Creates a New World that is Magic free and sends all of Jangangs Men there to live in a world free of Magic!

NO!

what really happens is that Richard opens the box of orden. he knows which one is right because the sword of truth turns white for the right one. the book of countered shadows is actually a diversion so that the wrong people don't open the boxes. then Richard sends everyone that has no magic (the pristinly ungifted) or hates it to a different world. that way everyone can live in peace. also the strile field is not contaminated for Kahlan because she already falls in love with Richard all over again. then they live happily ever after. The world that Richard made for the ungifted turns out to be our world, but that is in terry goodkind's newest book, the law of the nines.
