∙ 13y agothe fastest car currently is the exclusive jet car called "thrust ssc". It is proven capable of reaching around 760 mph. However, a car made by the same hands, called "bloodhound ssc", was built for another land speed record attempt in late 2011. It's target speed is a massive 1,050 mph, which is faster than most jets!
