1963 390 firing order should be 1-8-7-2-6-5-4-3. dwell 30 deg. timing 5 deg BTDC.
It will serve the purpose and may fit perfectly or you may have to do a little modification.
The 1961 Cadillac had a 390 cubic inch engine. The firing order is 18436572 with the number one cylinder on the front of the drivers side.
The point dwell is 26 - 30 The point gap is .017 According to motorcraft.com ( one of Fords websites )
15426378
1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8
No the 390 is a big block the 302 is a small block.
Where is the number one cylinder located on a 390 engine 1966 and are they 1357 on one side and 2468 on the other? thanks
