By your question, i cant understand what you mean...In the article by NASA, dated back to between Jan.5th 2012 to Jan. 17th. 2012 (Sorry but i cant remember when it was written) however in the aritcle it stated they been planning to have a station on mars far more than a decade, (kinda like man on a moon perhaps). Now in the year 2015, about, would be the frist research station of mars named "FrB90" however they changed it into "Kaitlyn42/Project M" The kaitlyn was named after the boss of the planners and she discovered it. [off topic, i know] but kaitlyn went MIA during one of her last trips to Antarctica, to view the rare sighting of Mars in the orbit. She was last seen on Feb. 2nd 2012 hope this answers helps!

First you must figure out how close Mars can get to the earth.
Mars has been well-known since ancient times. Perhaps the first astronomer to study it in depth was Percival Lowell, although he got a bit carried away with his research.
It's main mission is to research for life on Mars.
The McMurdo Research Station is found in/on the continent of Antartica=D
