The steps in a food chain or food web show the transfer of energy through different organisms in an ecosystem. A food web differs from a food chain because a food web shows a variety of possibilities to where the energy in an organism can be transfered; a food chain, on the other hand, shows only one possibility of an energy transfer.
For example, energy always starts out with the Sun; then Sun's energy then moves onto the producers on Earth, aka plants. It then moves to the consumers, including omnivores and/or herbivores who eat the plants. Then, that's where the omnivores and/or carnivores get their energy from.
the great white shark is second from all sea creatures
The chain is (sunlight) - plankton - krill - small fish - other fish or seals - shark.
kelp then kril then cats then dolphins then dog then shark
top of the chain. Few of them exist compared to what they prey upon & they are slow breeders. They eat large blubbery animals and travel vast areas of the world for food.
The shark is at the top of the food-chain in the ocean. Sharks are the ultimate eating machine and few animals are a danger to sharks.
no
It is the great white shark.
The great white shark.
Not exactly. The Great White Shark is at the top of the food chain and does not really need to be hidden from predators.
Nothing. The great white shark is an apex predator, meaning it is as an adult the top of the food chain.
The white shark is an apex predator (on top of the food chain) and as such, has very few predators. Killer whales and larger sharks pose the only natural threat to an adult white shark.
The great white shark is the moster dangerous shark. It's on top of the ocean/sea world food chain.
Besides humans Great White sharks are at the top of the food chain and they are called apex predators.
At the top -only humans hunt/kill them.
Where is the great white shark on the food wed

In the oceans, they share top spot with the orca or killer whale.
