At a constant temperature, the amount of a given gas dissolved in a given type and volume of liquid is directly proportional to the partial pressure of that gas in equilibrium with that liquid.
See the link below for more information.
Henry's law says that the solubility of a gas in a liquid is directly related to the pressure of the gas above the liquid. For instance, carbonated soft drinks stay fizzy because the can is under pressure. As soon as the pressure is released, the soda tends to go flat.
chemical law stating that the amount of a gas that dissolves in a liquid is proportional to the partial pressure of the gas over the liquid, provided no chemical reaction takes place between the liquid and the gas.

Chemistry law which states that the mass of a gas which will dissolve into a solution is directly proportional to the partial pressure of that gas above the solution.
Known: s1= .55g/' P1= 20.0 Kpa P2= 110 Kpa Unknown s2 Rearrange henrys law to get S2= s1(p2/p1) S2=.55 g/l (100kpa/20kpa) Solve for s2
Charles law: T.v=kBoyle law: p.v=k
The Periodic Law states these facts about properties of elements. The Russian chemist named Dmitri Mendeleev was the first to state this law in 1869.
Law of definite proportion, sometimes also called the law of constant composition.
