Piston powered aircraft (small helicopters included) run off a high grade petrolium called AvGas... however all jet turbines (engines) ,run off very high grade Jet A1 fuel......which essentially is just treated kerosene fuel.
usually kerosene
a type of oil that's very easy to ignite
but fuel mixes may vary, but most civilian airlines use kerosene for gas turbine engines
177
But it is ATF-Aviation Turbine Fuel
Fuel miles
CO2 is not used in or as an aircraft fuel.
Aviation jet fuel is basically kerosene
Airplanes have a unique engine that can only run on a certain fuel and if you put it in your car it wouldn't be able to burn it. :)
Piston aircraft use gasoline and Jets use a form of kerosene
In the aeroplane fuel storage compartment
in the wings
A variation of Aviation Turbine Fuel has always been used in turbine engines. Variations of gasoline have always been used in aircraft with piston engines.
That depends on how big the aeroplane is.
keep the o2 and the fuel separated
It depends what engines it has.
around 4000-5000 l
That depends on how much it consumes, and how far it is going.
