What are the bad things for animal testing?

There are many harmful effects of animal testing. Namely, animals experience prolonged suffering and death. Also, companies continue to participate in animal testing as long as people fail to speak out against it.

Some tests are/were little more than torture for the animals, so the harm of these tests is that the animal is hurt for no actual scientific gain. Techniques such as dripping shampoo into an animal's eyes or injecting soap into an animal's stomach are two practices that have been stopped (or largely stopped here in the US anyway).

many of said animals have never actually been approved for testing, they are taken advantage of.

After experimentation, countless amounts of these animals are 'disposed of' (killed)

not to mention that during experimentation, the animals are under huge amounts of stress so their bodies don't even react like ours would to whatever is being tested on them.

d=animal testing is also quite expensive. the experimenters must pay for the animals food and living space.

animal testing has a long list of pros and cons, but the con side is larger by a landslide.

all in all, animal testing is wrong but it also has its benefits. it should not be ended altogether but rather capped to lessen the amount of wrongly tested animals.

Obviously, it may hurt the animals and maybe this seems far-fetched, they could even become extinct. It's also cruel to animals as they may not be treated properly.
