Best Answer

The history of astronomy differs all around the world, though most people used to believe there were gods in the sky. Some people had jobs to try to guess the message the gods were trying to send us through astronomical events, like, the star positions, eclipses, etc. But there were some brave astronomers who dared to question the fact that everything in the sky revolved around earth, like Galileo, who got arrested for theorizing the planets revolved around the sun. Soon, when bigger and better telescopes were made, people began to see the facts with their eyes, and as technology became better and better, the more we knew.
