What is the history of Australian food?

Answer:
Up to World War II basic English food without much variety apart from the odd Indian curry and Chinese dish. After the war many different cultures influenced the Australian palate and Australia is now a truly cosmopolitan society with a huge variety of different foods and cuisines.
