What is the history of early south Africa history?

Answer:
To find out about early south Africa you will want to "Google" "afrikaans". Afrikaans is the name that early European invaders/ settlers called themselves. (the audacity!)
If you want to go back further than that. you will have to find books written by black
historians because that is the only way you will get the truth about the wonders and greatness of early south African civilization. It is a fact that the white "afrikaans" hid many ancient artifacts (in the basement of musuems) dating thousands of years which showed evidence that the original black people of ancient south Africa had a great advanced, sophisticated civilization.
One historian that I highly recommend is Dr. Ivan Van Sertima.
Please correct your disinformative nonsense- Afrikaans is not the name of the European invaders, as you put it, the name of these people were in fact Settlers, and from them stemmed the Voortrekkers who trekked inland to escape the conditions at the Cape of Good Hope- Afrikaans is in fact the Name of the language the Koisan tribes and Boere started speaking which stemmed from the old Dutch language, this name of the language only came for recognition in the late fifties and sixties, when Afrikaners fought for its recognition, Afrikaners being the white minority in South Africa, and now we are all called South Africans - its dispicable that people spread such disinformation - please look at http://www.encounter.co.za/category/heritage/museums to get the true facts
