the importance is that you cant change people because you like them better that way. its important to let people be themselves. (unless they are suicidal or are involved with drugs you may want to change them then) its very good to accept people and will not only help you, but help them, since they will feel good about themselves if you let them be who they are

How do you stop hating yourself?

1. Consider accepting yourself, accepting your faults either real or percieved. Consider setting reasonable goals and expectations for yourself. Consider understanding and accepting others. Acceptance leads to tolerance which leads to understanding, and if you can understand, you can learn to love those around you and yourself. 2. The only thing you should worry about is what you think of yourself, and who cares what everyone else thinks! If you can't stop then consider seeing a shrink. They just act as someone to talk to and confide in.

What are the ways to prevent stereotyping prejudice and bias?

The most important issue for religious harmony is to treat the beliefs of others with respect. Of course, this begins with ourselves, even though we probably believe that our own beliefs are the only truth. If others in the community are displaying intolerance towards your beliefs, it is wise not to respond in kind. Demonstrate confidence in your beliefs, but try to move the subject on to other matters. To treat the beliefs of others with respect really does mean accepting thoses beliefs as equally valid. That's the hard part. But someone has to make a start, and set an example for others in society. Interacial and interfaith marriages can be an extraordinarily important way of breaking down barriers. This means accepting the marriage, on equal terms and without preconditions, of a Muslim and a Christian or Hindu.
