What is the importance of micrscope in studying and developing the microbiology?

In microbiology, we study cells which are very small and can not be seen with the human eye. A microscope allows us to see these cells with powerful magnification, like a magnifier. Being able to the cells allows us to not only see these cells, we can also observe processes that take place within the cells and the behavoir of single celled organisms.
