The Kwakiutl Tribal men did not typically wear clothing except for an occasional breech clout. The women wore skirts made from cedar bark. In the winter both genders wore tunics made of cedar bark and leather moccasins.
The Kwakiutl Indians made their own shoes and clothes. Their shoes were made out of wood for support on the bottom and leaves for the tops.
The Kwakiutl Indians wore mainly deer skin. They had totum pole necklaces and mokasin. The ladies wore dresses and the men wore pants or the little skirt things.
