Well, for one they are huge when they are an adult, but in an adult male gorilla you would see signs of more aggressive behavior. More fighting would occur, more signs of testosterone would show and if you watched you would see the gorilla marking its territory more and keeping boundaries for their own home. They would be attentive to females and other males, while also they would be searching for a mate and trying to catch the females attention by showing off and supplying the female with gifts and food. The adult male gorilla might also be showing behavioral signs of wanting to create a pack or family or gorillas. Their own clan in a way!
