Is there a time limit on reporting statutory rape in California?

The law in California is if you are under 16 and had sex with someone 18 or over then it is rape.............I dont think you would be able to do anything about it now unless you had proof like a videotape or witness.

There is also a statute of limitations, but that has been lifted. Honestly there's not much the police would be able to do now...all evidence is gone. Was it stat rape though or actually rape? If it were stat rape the girl would have consented to intercourse, but she is underaged and therefore it was illegal for the man to do that with her. What you're describing, it sounds like she was forced, therefore it's not stat rape.
