What is the leadership model of the LDS church?

Answer:

Answer

At the grassroots level of Mormonism is the ward, which holds between 300 and 700 individuals. Its leader is the 'bishop', who performs as an unpaid parish priest and has 2 counsellors.

Wards are grouped into 'stakes' of about 2000 members. The stake has a president and counsellors, a high council and other officers.

The 'General Authorities' is the basic and paid formal core of church administration and consists of the First Presidency, the Twelve Apostles and some of the Quorums of the Seventy. (Their pay is minimal, as many of the members at those levels are already retired)
