When one Spanish shipwreck happened on the coast of North America one of the survivors on the ship Esteban went on shore and stopped other Spanish from destroying a local tribe, as a kind gesture, the tribes chief took Esteban to their sacred city a city made from solid gold. After leaving Esteban continued to come back in search of it again but he never found, and many of other explorers came to the new world in search of it,but none ever found it. The exact location of the actual city is still unknown and some still doubt the city actually exist.

Coronado was looking for the Seven Cities of Cibola (Gold). He never found them and so they are dismissed as a legend. But, some people still believe it is out there.
