What is the lifespan of a Beagle?

Answer:
Beagles tend to live until they are 12-15 years old if they are kept healthy and loved. You should feed them dog food, but if you can't, then give them hamberger & rice.
I have a beagle that is 15, his heart is strong, he has cushings disease (for about 2 years now, untreated), and he has mild chronic bronchitis (treated), and just recently was given a barium x-ray due to blood in his diahreea and lethargy. I think he ate something from the garbage that made him sick, but thank goodness did not cause a blockage. I love him so much, I know he is feeling pain right now due to his tummy, but I'm hoping he will get better here over the next couple days, if not, he will be 15 years exactly this October. If I can get him to last another 2-3 years, I'll be so happy. He loves to lie down wherever I am. He's blind, and def, but can smell and still wags his tail when I get home. :)
