The Snow Leopard normally may live as long as 15 to 18 years old in the wild. Another source suggests, from tooth analysis that wild Snow Leopards might not live more than 10 to 13 years. Due to the remote region, and the leopards reserved nature, hard and fast rules about their life in the wild are still being complied. While in captivity, usually they can live as long as 21 years old. The Snow Leopard is listed as "endangered" according to the International Union of Conservation for Nature or the IUCN Red List, with a population trend posted as "decreasing".
