There is no list of names. A pope can choose any name he wishes and even keep his birth name.
The Swiss Guard. I do not believe there is a list on the internet of their individual names, however.

Pope Francis is pope number 266.
No, they do not choose from a list. They may choose a name of a previous pope or choose a new name such as Pope John Paul I did.
Blessed Pope Pius IX (the 9th) was number 256 in the list of Popes! He was Pope from 1846-1878, and now has the title "Blessed".
If you go to the Patron Saints Index (see the Related Link at the bottom of this answer) and click on the category "Beatified by" then you'll find a list of popes. Click on a pope's name and you'll see a list of the individuals he has beatified, or given the title of "Blessed." That is the best way I know of to come up with the list that you are looking for.
