I just replaced what I think was an IAT sensor. In US version, it is on the driver's side, in the top of the ram air intake just forward of the air filter box. Pops right out like a cork, then just plug the new one in. Mine cost $16 at a national chain parts store.

There's another sensor between the air filter box and the intake manifold that is held in with two Phillips screws. I have no idea what that one does, but it extends into the intake air as well. Just in the clean air.

Yes that is indeed the Ac Delco part ACD15-50343 Inside Air Temperature Sensor for a 2001 Nissan xterra $12.92 is what they cost and it takes less than 5 minutes to put in lift the hood look to the front right top of the eNGINE and you will see it the easiest repair I ever made If have cold air again that works fully
