Although many people believe the record for the longest period of time gone without any sleep is Randy Gardner, who went without sleep for 11 days, the true record holder is Mrs. Maureen Weston of Peterborough, England. Mrs. Weston went 449 hours (18 days, 17 hours) without sleep during a rocking chair marathon. This occurred from April 14 to May 2, 1997. She tended to hallucinate, so i don't suggest you attempt this. I read this in the 1982 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records on page 51 under sleeplessness in case anyone is interested in checking it out.
"The current Guinness Book of World Records stands at 449 hours held by Maureen Weston, of Petersborough, Cambridgeshire in April, 1977. No one knows how long a human body can endure without going to sleep. "

Yes, the longest time ever living without sleep is less than 12 days.
Of course, you don't have to wear anything to go to sleep or to bed.
The average is around 3-4 days, anyone who manages longer is either almost certainly lying, or they are likely experiencing spells of microsleep without even realising it. Certainly there are drugs such as caffeine, cocaine and amphetamines that keep you awake, but these cannot sustain you for very long. The longest in the Guinness book of world record is 11 days without sleep.
i stayed up for 12 days once i was high
The longest possible time a person can go without sleep is typically around 11 days, set by the Guinness World Record. However, going without sleep for extended periods is incredibly dangerous and can lead to severe physical and mental health issues. It is strongly advised to prioritize getting an adequate amount of sleep for overall well-being.

People can develop a mental illness called insomnia which means they can't sleep without drugs, so I guess it is theoretically possible for someone to sleep for 3 months but personally, I have never heard of that happening to anyone.
