What is the meaning of inverse and direct relationship?

Answer:
For a direct relationship of the magnitude of an entity to another there is increase in one with the increase of another :

Eg: with increase in Pressure, Temperature increases with formula:

PV=nRT

For inverse relationship, there is decrease in magnitude of one with increase in other.

Eg

f=1/Time-Period
