Physical education emphasizes education through physical activities. A class teaching you to deal with stress through biofeedback could fall under Physical Education, as could a Weightlifting or Racquetball class. The sports classes not only teach you the rules of the game, but how to train (educate) your body to get good results in the game as well. I am not sure what specific courses are taught in the MAPEH program, but the emphasis will likely be on sports or body knowledge... similar to a "gym" class in the United States.
