Driver and passenger safety is a very important consideration in Mitsubishi Motors' thinking on improvement of the social environment. This calls for continuous re-examination of the requirements for what a passenger car should deliver. Since the 80s, Mitsubishi has developed a total safety philosophy: safety and performance were indivisible, each another name for the other. Besides passive safety systems designed to minimize injury in the event of a collision, Mitsubishi has developed many active safety technologies to help prevent accidents from occurring in the first place. Among the various active safety technologies is the exciting field of all-wheel control. This field encompasses the integration of many technologies including, TCL (Traction Control), ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), 4WS (four-wheel steering), and electronically-controlled 4WD (four-wheel drive). Public acclaim has followed Mitsubishi over the years with the development of various advanced technologies and the refinement of others. All-wheel control combines these separate systems into a whole, and in so by doing, produce an integrated system that the total benefit is greater than the sum of its parts.
how do i fix the problem if the tcl light comes on in a 2003 mitsubishi galant
its the traction control light. more specifically its the traction control malfunction light
Traction control.
...got the same prob last week. the only answer to the prob is a remote control coming from the distributor... you can search the net for the distributor of the TCL TV you have. they will ask you for the tv model. any remote control won't do, it must be a TCL RC alone.
Tcl was created in 1988.
there are two TCL lights. The blue-green one says the TCL system is active (you are in a slide or cornering too fast) Vacuum is released to get the engine to about 3000 rpm (torque limiting) and selective braking is applied. Why you would want to see the light in this condition is questionable. The other orange light is the indication that you have turned TCL off or you have a problem with the TCL system. many codes so you need to have someone with a tcl capable scanner read the system then go for the fix. Rarely the computer. most likely the valves above the master cylender on the firewall. Code 71 means the left valve (vacuum valve) is bad and 72 means the right valve (aspirator valve) is bad.

who makes the tcl tv's
TCL Corporation was created in 1981.
The population of TCL Corporation is 50,000.
Its the light that signifies the traction control system has malfunctioned. Wheel bearings are a possibility for it to turn on I believe.
you can get the diagram of tcl 2111 at omni logistcs corp.
