Momentum = mass x velocity, so it is 750 x 25

= 18750 kg metres/second.

Just multiply the mass times the velocity. Note that since velocity is a vector, momentum is also a vector - and the momentum vector will be in the same direction as the velocity vector.

What is the momentum of a truck with a mass of 4500 kg traveling at 25 m's?

112,500 km m/s

What is the momentum of a truck with a mass of 4500 kg traveling at 25 m divided by s?

Magnitude of momentum = (mass) x (speed) = (4,500) x (25) = 112,500 kilogram-meters/second

A car and a truck are traveling at the same speedWhich has more momentum why?

If a car and a truck are traveling at the same speed, the truck would have more momentum because it has a greater mass.

Which has a greater momentum a small pick up truck traveling at 55km an hour or a full-sized bus traveling at the same speed?

Momentum is mass times velocity, if the velocity of the two are the same, the object with the greater mass will have proportionally greater momentum.

Which has more momentum a semi truck traveling at 20 mph or a football linebacker traveling at 20 mph?

Momentum = Ρ = m•v, m is mass in kg, and v is velocity in m/s. Both the semi and the linebacker are traveling at the same velocity. However, the mass of the semi is hundreds of times the mass of the linebacker. Therefore, the semi will have a much greater momentum than the linebacker.

When would the linear momentum of a truck be greater than that of a bus?

Since momentum equals mass times velocity, if the mass of the truck times its velocity is greater than the mass of the bus times the bus' velocity then the momentum of the truck will be greater than the momentum of the bus.

Which has the greater mass a heavy truck at rest or a rolling skateboard which has greater momentum?

The truck has the most mass, but because it is at rest, the skateboard has the most momentum.

Does a truck have more momentum than a car?

Yes. At the same velocity, a truck would have more momentum than a car as it has greater mass. Momentum is the product of mass and velocity: ρ=mv

Why does a slow-moving loaded truck and a speeding rifle bullet each have a large momentum?

Momentum is the product of velocity and mass.

How does momentum work?

Momentum is the product of the mass and velocity of an object. Momentum= Mass x Velocity. When the object weighs 20kg and is traveling at 20m/s North it will have a momentum of 400kgm/s North.

What are some examples of momentum?

Momentum is speed or force of movement and it is defined as moving body. Momentum must have both mass and velocity. Examples of momentum include if a car and big truck are rolling down a hill, the truck will roll faster. A bullet has a lot of momentum with a small mass.

A car and a train are traveling with the same velocitydo the two objects have the same momentum?

No, the train has MUCH more mass and momentum is mass times speed.
